Resumo

Este estudo analisa o mercado de planos de saúde no Brasil, especialmente nas regiões metropolitanas, abordando a quantidade de beneficiários, suas motivações, níveis de satisfação e hábitos de cuidado com a saúde. Ele também avalia as diferenças entre beneficiários e não beneficiários, destacando fatores como perfil socioeconômico, motivos de adesão ou saída dos planos, além da importância atribuída à posse de um plano de saúde para a segurança e qualidade de vida.

Abstract

This study analyzes the health insurance market in Brazil, especially in metropolitan regions, addressing the number of beneficiaries, their motivations, levels of satisfaction, and health care habits. It also evaluates the differences between beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries, highlighting factors such as socioeconomic profile, reasons for joining or leaving plans, as well as the importance attributed to having a health plan for security and quality of life.
