Abstract
Disinformation is indeed a global strategy that directly competes with ethical information practices. In the healthcare sector, this issue is particularly critical, necessitating new tools and approaches to effectively combat it. One essential discussion revolves around web regulation, as the internet is a platform where misinformation spreads rapidly, undermining trust in health information. Institutions face significant challenges due to increasing distrust, exacerbated by the dissemination of false and distorted information. Referring to misinformation as "fake news" may downplay its severity, as it often extends beyond mere false reports, involving deep ideological convictions that influence beliefs and behaviors. It is crucial to develop effective tools for identifying and debunking misinformation while ethically constructing health content with social responsibility. This involves promoting transparency, data accuracy, and accountability in public health communication. In addition to stricter regulations, public education on digital and health literacy can empower individuals to distinguish between reliable and misleading information, thereby enhancing resilience against misinformation. These measures are essential to safeguard public health and promote an informed and conscientious society.
